Mission

The mission of SPARK Learning's Summer Enrichment Day Camp is to provide children with a creative space to learn a variety of interesting and inspiring lessons that encourage each child to grow in creativity, confidence, and wisdom. Our focus is to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students while providing a positive and safe environment. Students will have opportunities to collaborate with peers and use their strengths to help others.

SPARK Learning Enrichment Camp

SPARK learning is located on 5 acres in a rural area in east Norman, one-mile north of Thunderbird Lake. We have dogs, a cat, chickens, ducks, and a pond. Play and exploration is a vital part of child development. Children at SPARK Learning WORK hard and PLAY hard! It is recommended that children wear closed-toe shoes and old clothes. Children WILL get DIRTY!

Please note: Clothes may get stained during play or experiments!

In a backpack or similar bag, each child should bring:

LABEL everything clearly with your child's name!

Breakfast and Lunch will NOT be provided by SPARK Learning. Please make sure your child eats a good breakfast and brings their lunch each day. Milk products are not recommended on hot, summer days. Please limit sugary drinks and foods. Children are working hard and playing hard. Consuming sugary drinks and foods will cause energy crashes and behavioral problems.

Two snacks and unlimited water are provided by SPARK Learning each day. Children will need to replenish their bodies with plenty of water and snacks. PLEASE NOTIFY STAFF OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES!

SPARK Learning Summer Enrichment Camps are designed for children ages 5-10 years.

Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Extended Care is available before and after camp.

ELECTRONICS POLICY

Please leave ALL electronics at home! If an electronic device is brought to the camp, it will be locked up until 3:00 when the parent returns to pick up the child. The camps are designed for exploration, experimentation, and play.

**SPARK Learning Summer Enrichment Camp, employees, and volunteers are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
